I went to the Shelter to drop off all the pet food donations I have gotten over the past few weeks and There are so many cute animals that really need a home! If I didn't already have my own crew of pets I would have happily taken home a few! If your thinking about getting a pet be sure to check shelters first ! This guy reminded me of my beagle! Walgreens has an awesome deal going on Almay products! My daughter and I went buzzing around town and stopped in at several Walgreens in our area to do this deal. You'll need to look for the Spring Beauty Book (near the beauty counters) In it, you'll find a $2 off Almay products coupon Use this and combine with the $2 Coupon from the 3/6 SS.( a MM even without the insert Coupon!) Buy Almay Makeup remover priced at $4.19 less the $4 in coupons (be sure to hand over the insert coupon first) you get it for .20 cents and get a $5 catalina coupon back to use on a future purchase!. The makeup is also on sale from $5.59-5.99.  We were able to find plenty of coupons books available at each store as well as plenty of stock of makeup and remover (No shelf clearing by this couponer!We went to 6 different stores! ). They let us get two each per store. So in the end we paid about $10.50 for everything but got $110 in catalina's!  Thanks to Stephanie and Imm93 from my coupon group for letting me know about this deal!

Kroger run for more freebies to donate

I made a quick run to Kroger because luckily I had a friend give me another stack of papers from last week that had the free cat food coupons more to donate! While I was there I used the extra dog food coupons I had for more.. yes more Free dog food (How could I resist they paid me to buy it!) more Yaksobi noodles for the food bank, lots of hand soap, yogurt,  a few paper towels and I finally remembered to get ketchup! Before coupons my total was 85.96 After coupons I paid only .63 cents! and they gave me a $2 catalina for buying the dog food! Whoop!

Breath Right and Get Spicy!

I got some major overage from Walmart Today! Breath Right Stips 2ct are .97 cents and there was a coupon for $1.50 off a 12 count or less in the 1/30 RP .53 cents overage on each! Also the 3/13 RP there is a $1 off McCormick spices and they are only .98 cents right now.. free!(+2 cents overage) I used my overage for some items I don't usually have coupons for (Yes I take sugar in my coffee!) They best part is Before coupons.. balance 34.73 after coupons, they paid me .26 cents to take it all out of the store! I really like the new Walmart coupon policy!

No shopping for me this weekend! The weather here was amazing so I spent the it cleaning out my garden and preparing my flower beds. Shelter Donations

Shelter Donations are ready to go! I'll be taking all this cat food to a local shelter. As well as the food and treats, the shelters are happy to take extra newspapers and old bath mats and rugs that they use as beds for the animals! The hardest part of making these donations for me is leaving the pets there!

Coupons + mega sale = Lots of free Dog food!

The five dogs in my family are stocked up with food thanks to the Kroger mega sale and bogo (buy one get one free) coupons, all this dog food was free! I went to several different Kroger's in my area to stock up (and not clear the shelves :) ! Thanks to the friends in my coupon group who share their unwanted pet food coupons! The Pedigree is $1 a can, if you buy 10 in the mega sale it they take off $5 at the end of your transaction making them just .50 cents a can..combined with the bogo coupons that take off $1(pre mega price)  I have a whopping 70 cans of food, and a group of happy dogs!
